Course Objective

Course Outline
Review the process of trading and types of documents used in both exports and imports
Differentiate shipping terms and Incoterms
Shipper’s obligations in giving correct lading info within the b/l
Review some important items behind b/l on the boundaries of responsibility for the delay in the time bar
Differentiate the categories of bills of freight and their usage e.g.
non-negotiable b/l, negotiable b/l and sea waybill, and switched b/l
Case studies/practical training on correct cargo delivery, making ready bills of lading in accordance with the shipper's or buyer's necessities line the shipping terms on the b/l.
